Scalded toddler choppered to Auckland HospitalAUCKLAND RESCUE HELICOPTER TRUSTA toddler has been rushed to hospital after he was scalded by hot water on Thursday afternoon. The boy, a 20-month-old, was flown by rescue helicopter to Auckland Hospital, a St John spokesman said. A St John Ambulance was called to the incident, at Tindalls Beach on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, 45km north of Auckland, at about 1.35pm. No further details about the incident were available. The boy had moderate injuries.
