CAIRO – 3 June 2022: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli stressed that the economic reforms the state has made over the past years have enabled the Egyptian economy to overcome the crises it faced. Madbouli made the remarks during a speech at the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group in Sharm El-Sheikh. This includes the member states of the IsDB Group that aim at reaching sustainable and inclusive economic, social and environmental development, Madbouli said. Madbouli warned against the consequences of climate change in thwarting development efforts especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, urging increasing the flow of the sustainable economic growth. Madbouli asserted that the Egyptian state has exerted great efforts in the past few years to reach inclusive and sustainable development.
