CLEVELAND – Cole Ragans, who has solidly reappeared on the Rangers’ prospect map after three injury-plagued years, is about to tackle the next big hurdle in his comeback. Ragans, the Rangers’ first-round pick in 2016, must find a way to maintain his stuff deep into the season. On Wednesday, in his 10th start of the season at Double-A Frisco, Ragans made perhaps his strongest start of the year in a 4-0 win over Amarillo of the Arizona organization.
