Our Special CorrespondentNew Delhi: Rahul Gandhi has indicated his readiness to launch an intense campaign for the Karnataka Assembly elections, as he had done in Gujarat last year. The travel plan was decided at a strategy meeting chaired by Rahul on Saturday which was attended by all senior Congress leaders from Karnataka, including chief minister Siddaramaiah. Siddaramaiah said after the meeting: "Rahul Gandhi was very happy to know that there is no anti-incumbency against our government and that all programmes mentioned in our manifesto have been completed." Asked about the issue of Hindutva, the chief minister accused the BJP of highlighting "irrelevant issues". "The BJP is raising irrelevant issues in Karnataka.
