New Zealand has its own hypercar (again)

Rodin Cars, a performance carmaker based in the South Island, has detailed the mighty FZero hypercar. Power will come from a bespoke twin-turbo 4.0-litre V10 engine, along with a crankshaft-mounted electric motor, paired with an eight-speed semi-automatic transmission. Supplied The bespoke V10 revs to 10,000rpm and, combined with an electric motor, produces 865kW. SUPPLIED The Rodin FZED has been developed and built in New Zealand and offers owners an F1-style experience for much less money. Of course, the FZero won’t be the first high-performance car to be concieved in New Zealand.
