Samir Nasri has become an outcast among the Manchester City squad on their pre-season tour to the United States after some of his team-mates snubbed him because of his arrogance. City are so desperate to get rid of Nasri, who spent last season on loan at Seville, that they have cut their asking price for the 30-year-old from £21 million to £10 million. Pep Guardiola, the City head coach, has 11 senior midfielders in his squad and is a fan of Phil Foden, the 17-year-old prospect who played well in the 2-0 defeat by Manchester United in Houston last week.
