A 21-year-old man who stole a trampoline and used a fake social media profile to scam people out of money has admitted a month-long crime spree in Christchurch. Two days later, Banks used his fake Facebook profile to contact the seller of a Samsung phone. The next day, Banks used the stolen tools to secure a loan of $230 at a pawn shop on Ferry Rd. On August 16 Banks stole two sets of headphones from a store in Eastgate shopping mall.
