Kenya: Baringo Senator Gideon Moi asks State to step up security in clash-prone region

Speaking at Mochongoi ward, Gideon said residents are entitled to live in peace and called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to beef up security in the area. Gideon also warned against politicising insecurity in the region and called on Parliamentary Security Committee Chairman and Tiaty MP Asman Kamama to help restore calm in the region. He called for deployment of more Kenya Police Reservists and a police camp to be established in the region.
