A 13-year-old boy led police on a 19km chase through the Waikato, with his joyride cut short only after spikes were laid. The teenager was driving a car stolen from Hamilton , said a spokeswoman from the police media centre. "Police attempted to pull over a vehicle in the Hamilton suburb of Dinsdale [at around 3am]. "The driver decided to attempt to evade police, went onto the Waikato Expressway and drove to Ngaruawahia where spikes were laid."
