KARACHI: The chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Sirajul Haq, called on all Muslim nations to suspend diplomatic ties with the US until it reconsiders its Jerusalem decision. Siraj was speaking to participants of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Million March in Karachi against US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The JI rally warned the US president of widening the scope of protest across the world, saying they would continue the protest till the announcement was reversed. The JI had set up camps at the key points on all roads in Karachi to facilitate to participants of the million march. A fresh wave of violence has erupted on the Gaza Strip border following US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
