According to the information from the BCCI, there will be no opening ceremony in IPL 2020 and due to the social distancing norms, there will be no cheerleaders as well in the UAE. Additionally, this year, owing to the circumstances, there will be no new media registrations barring the UAE media. Six teams are put up in Dubai and they include Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
