CAIRO - 27 May 2022: The draw of the 2022 African Men's Handball Championship was held on Thursday night in Cairo. The Pharaohs, the current title holders, are drawn in Group A alongside Cameroon and Morocco and the hosts picked Cameroon to face in the opening game of the competition. The Egyptian national team players, Ahmed El Ahmar, Yehia El Deraa, Ibrahim El Masry, Ahmed Adel and Karim Hendawy, conducted the draw of the competition, which will see the participation of 14 nations. Egypt will host the competition between 9 and 19 July at Hassan Mostafa Hall and October Hall.
