It further quoted President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s remarks during the Egyptian Family’s breakfast party held in April, where he mentioned that the war cost Egypt around L.E. 84 million until the year 2017, at a monthly cost estimated by one billion pounds. The study focused on the war that Egypt waged against terrorism, as it indicated that in the wake of the June 30, 2013 revolution, Egypt witnessed a huge terrorist wave driven by the violent practices of the terrorist Brotherhood group. It further said that the Brotherhood mounted a “battle of existence” against Egypt’s institutions, after the overthrow of the Brotherhood rule.
