India’s AI Ecosystem: Key DriversThe AI ecosystem involves a set of heterogeneous but functionally connected actors and institutions that operate based on a set of available knowledge, resources, and technologies, with complex relationships of interdependency. The National AI Mission aims to work towards building and supporting the AI ecosystem through a mix of public expenditure and supportive policies. The nature of the AI ecosystem development and expansion of ecosystem boundaries will depend on how the government, institutions, and firms interact.
