Cycling couple can't lay coffin on Parliament steps

A Dunedin couple's 1300km bicycle journey to lay a coffin on Parliament's steps has been stopped 20 metres short after an emotional exchange with security guards. Camilla and Julian Cox travelled 1300km to deliver a letter to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. The couple say they've been overwhelmed by the support they've received while traveling through South Island settlements, towns and cities. Health Minister David Clark says the Government has already significantly increased Pharmac's budget. Clark said the Government had increased Pharmac's budget from $871 million in 2017 to $1.015 billion.
