JOHOR BARU: The rivalry between two lion dance troupes took an ugly turn when three teenage boys, including two brothers, were beaten up by a group of 15. The siblings’ father said at about 8pm on March 31 the group of men came into the house. The father said the rivalry began after a lion dance group was set up at the school which the three boys attend. The father added that at first, the boys were part of the troupe but he was not happy that it was withholding information from the school authorities. “I decided to set up a new lion dance troupe for the students and this upset the other team.
