Share TweetBy Leslie Ann AquinoThe head of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People (CBCP ECMI) asked Filipinos on Tuesday to pray for the safe and successful visit of Pope Francis in Asia this week. “Let us pray for the safety of the Holy Father’s travel there and the successes of his pastoral visits with unending graces to all,” Bishop Ruperto Santos, CBCP ECMI chairman, said. Pope Francis is set to visit Thailand and Japan from November 20 to 26. The CBCP ECMI official, meantime, urged overseas Filipino workers in the said countries to volunteer their time and talent in the historic visit.
