Leke Baiyewu, AbujaThe Senate has again resolved that the Nigerian police, the Department of State Services and the military should brief it next week on the security situation in the country. The resolution was made based on a point of order raised by Senator Shehu Sani at the plenary on Wednesday. Sani reported the killings in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State to the Senate. It is very clear that the people have been crying and raising issues but nobody is listening,” Sani stated. “I will want to suggest that next week and on this particular issue as well, we do get a briefing from the state security, the military and the police.
