APs protest delayed Afraha Madaraka Day fete allowances


The officers had been camping at the training school in preparation for the national day that was marked in Nakuru. He said that prison and regular police wings of the disciplined forces had received their allowances soon after the celebrations. The irate APs argued that their colleagues from other security units had received their allowances. There was drama at NYS training institute in Gilgil after administration police officers (AP) who participated in the Madaraka day celebrations demanded to be paid their allowances. “There was some communication breakdown but this has been addressed and the officers will soon be on their way back,” he said.
