6 killed after Vietnam War-era helicopter giving a tour crashes onto road in Logan County, West Virginia

(CNN) A Vietnam War-era helicopter that crashed Wednesday killing 6 was being used for reunion festivities, according to an emergency management official. "The Huey that crashed was the one that was being used at the reunion," Logan County Emergency Ambulance Authority Chief of Operations Ray Bryant Bryant said. An accident and incident notification posted online by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says: "Helicopter crashed under (unknown) circumstances on Blair Mt hwy while reportedly giving air tours, a/c consumed by fire." "We want all helicopter (especially Huey) enthusiasts to have an opportunity to fly/ride in this historical helicopter," the website says. After the crash, one of the owners showed up to the scene, Bryant told WSAZ, though he did not name the owner.
