Both of them are advised to keep military prowess of the fourth largest powerful country of the world, his own country, in mind. Meanwhile, Pakistan is positioned at number nine in the index with a wide gap in fundamental factors i.e., in national development and military strength. While Pakistan has a military strength of 6.7 lakhs, India stands to have strength of 14 lakhs beside large logistic and infrastructural back up. Pakistan has zero aircraft carriers and its limited strength makes it a 'Green-water Navy' that can operate in its region. Instead of preaching peace to India, Farooq Abdullah should rather warn Pakistan against doing mischief against us.

Here's why my BuzzFeed Shopping colleague loves it:"Not only is it super hydrating for my hands (LOL @ constantly hand-washing now and forever! ), but the yuzu scent is also just calming and lovely, and I'm obsessed with how light and frothy the foaming suds are from the soap." I was so excited when I received it to give it a try, really just to see the pretty foam flower. My teenager loves it too and is now finally washing her hands more like she is supposed to. I almost don't want to recommend it so they don't run out of stock!"

The death has occurred of the businessman Tony O’Reilly (88), who made a fortune as chief executive and chairman of the US food company, Heinz, and used his wealth to invest in Irish companies including Waterford Glass and the Independent group. A family spokesman said that he died on Saturday in St Vincent’s hospital in Dublin after a short illness. In 1969 he became the head of Heinz in the UK, and two years later moved to Pittsburgh to take on the role of senior vice-president with that corporation. On the eve of the poll, the Irish Independent ran a front-page editorial headed “Payback Time” which attacked the outgoing government and backed Fianna Fáil and Bertie Ahern, who emerged as taoiseach. O’Reilly is survived by his sons Cameron, Gavin and Tony jnr, and daughters Susie, Justine and Caroline.

The inclusion of multinationals in our productivity stats was always going to lead to a faulty perception.. According to the Central Statistics Office (CSO), Irish workers generated an impressive €97 worth of value for every hour they worked in 2023. It was almost entirely predicated on the presence of high-value multinationals in the Irish economy. Labour productivity in the multinational-dominated foreign sector, as distinct from the domestic economy, was a whopping €381 per hour in 2023, according to CSO. The inclusion of these companies in our productivity stats was always going to lead to a faulty perception.

Mr Harris made the comments following reports of a diplomatic row with Israeli President Isaac Herzog over the Government’s plan. The Taoiseach spoke by phone with Mr Herzog on Friday where he set out Ireland’s desire to see an immediate ceasefire in Gaza as well as “urgent and unhindered access” for humanitarian aid. “The Irish position in relation to the Middle East, in relation to Gaza, in relation to Israel is very straightforward and very consistent. “In the coming days Ireland intends to do just that.”Mr Harris was asked whether the move could lead to the severing of diplomatic ties between Ireland and Israel. I mean political processes that have to be followed and they differ slightly from country to country.

It is not so much a War of the Roses as an escalating confrontation over sweet-smelling petunias versus food-giving potatoes. Stock imageMost times in the battle for extra ground we generally reach a detente: a fancy French word meaning the relaxation of strained relations. The normally abundant annual potato crop is in trouble. And it’s not just Ireland; this year’s potato crop across northern Europe has also been delayed because of the awful weather. I would like to grow some extra potatoes this year to keep us self-sufficientSo the battle over garden territory intensified.
