President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to pray for learners as they go back to school for the second term. Most schools are expected to reopen on Monday, May 13, save for some 2,155 institutions which have been affected by floods. Speaking when he attended a Sunday service at CITAM, Valley Road, Nairobi, Ruto said the prayers should include their academic and personal growth too. This comes a day after Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen urged parents to release their children early for school. He said this is a way of playing a role of ensuring their kids' safety so the ministry can monitor their journeys to school.
