Jason Karl Blackler (53) saw the Parole Board last month where he told them he was intent on completing anti-violence rehabilitation. He made a phone call to her in which he said he might have killed his friend, the jury heard at trial. The Parole Board, however, was unimpressed with his release plan. He was urged to reconsider that stance before his next parole hearing in September.
