In February, the Times reported that The Shires Shopping Centre in Trowbridge is preparing to welcome a ‘national retailer’ to a vacant unit. In November last year, the Wiltshire Times reported that the site had come under offer from a mystery buyer. The space had reportedly been vacant since Saturday, July 20, when Poundland closed its flagship store in the centre after deciding not to renew its lease on the unit.
