PETALING JAYA: More states are showing positive developments and could move on to the next phase of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), says Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Muhyiddin tweeted this after chairing a National Security Council (NSC) meeting via video conference from the hospital to discuss latest developments over the Covid-19 pandemic. On June 30, Muhyiddin – who is a cancer survivor – was admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur after suffering from diarrhoea. On Monday (July 5), five states – Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perak and Perlis – entered Phase Two of the NRP after meeting various thresholds. Phase Two will have slightly eased restrictions in terms of business, sports and social matters.
