Reacting to some of the concerns raised by protestors, Boakye Antwi chided them for their actions and also described the protest as ‘anti-government. He reminded the protestors that no one in government is unaware of the challenges facing the country and that they are doing their best to resolve the issues. He questioned if the demonstrators thought about the third wave which is currently being experienced in the country. ‘My other concern is that the Covid-19 protocols have been breached to the extreme because almost everybody who spoke there didn’t have a mask on. The lawlessness, disregard for rule of law, indiscipline in our country are all matters that ought to be looked at,” he said.
