President William Ruto has told off people who have been telling him to think about his re-election, whenever he makes decisions affecting the country. Speaking at the Africa CEO Forum in Rwanda, Ruto said that he was not elected to get re-elected, but to transform the country. The Head of State insisted that leading is about making the right decisions for your people. "I am always challenged because when I make the right decisions, people always tell me, you have to think about your re-election and I keep reminding them that I was not elected to be re-elected. I was elected to transform the country," Ruto said.
