Fly-half Damien McKenzie showed his class scoring 19 points off his boots as the Chiefs shrugged off a tough challenge from the Crusaders. The much-anticipated match lived up to the expectations of the fans with the Chiefs heading into half-time leading 12-7. Emoni Narawa started for the Chiefs and played an instrumental role with some outstanding runs and great defence. In other matches last night, the Rebels survived a scare from Moana Pasifika winning 43-33 while the Reds beat the Western Force 31-17.
