A spokeswoman for President-elect Donald Trump says that he has not decided to create a committee focused on analyzing the safety of vaccines headed by vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., despite assertions by Kennedy earlier today. The President-elect looks forward to continuing the discussion about all aspects of Autism with many groups and individuals. That conflicts with Kennedy's statements from earlier in the day, according to the Washington Post, when he Trump asked him to chair a committee that would focus on vaccine safety. “President-elect Trump has some doubts about the current vaccine policies, and he has questions about it,” Kennedy said. “His opinion doesn’t matter, but the science does matter, and we ought to be reading the science, and we ought to be debating the science."
