Rith BasuAlipore: The maximum temperature climbed a notch from Sunday's high to make Monday the hottest day in the city in more than a month. The last time it had been this hot in the city was on March 14. But the RealFeel - a measure of the effect of the temperature, relative humidity, wind and the angle of the sun - on Monday - was 44 degrees at 3pm, compared with 41 degrees on March 14. The minimum relative humidity, which had seen a downward trend over the past week, went up by seven per cent on Monday, making it sultry. The maximum temperature could climb further.
