Riva Ganguly made the remarks at a views-exchange meeting organized by Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) at Bangabandhu Conference Hall of World Trade Centre in the city. Out of 10 billion dollar mutual trade, during fiscal 2018-19, the export of Bangladesh has surpassed $1.04 billion. Indian High Commissioner expressed her optimism that the non-tariff barriers in terms of Bangladesh's export to India would be removed based on bilateral discussions. Business leaders drew the attention of the Indian High Commissioner about non-tariff barriers, transit cargo movement, and reduction in cost of doing business, investment in skilled human resources, health sector, and other matters. The board of directors, leaders of different trade bodies, and civil society members participated in the views-exchange meeting.
