Residents of high-rise up in arms against builder


more-inResidents of Lodha Meridian Society, KPHB Colony, organised a demonstration near their residential complex on Saturday, protesting against the builder, allegedly defaulting in provision of certain amenities. Due to lack of space for car parking for the 748 flats, the residents were being offered a leased car parking in the adjacent campus. Over ₹4 lakh was collected from each occupant for parking, Kiran Kumar Lumburu, the vice-president of the society complained. The builder later built 34-storey towers without building any basements for parking. The builder has charged us ₹99 per sft for infrastructure which ranges from 1.5lakh to 2.5 lakh depending on the size of the flat.
