MANILA, Philippines — The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Thursday said they have so far received around 20 percent of the physical copies of election returns nationwide. PPCRV spokesperson Agnes Gervacio said the election returns came from Metro Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pangasinan, Baguio City, La Union, and Nueva Ecija. Ubos na ubos lahat na dumadating na election returns dito,” Gervacio told reporters at the PPCRV command center in Manila. Gervacio said they are expecting more election returns to arrive in the following days as they attempt to finish the manual encoding of election results in two to three weeks. The Church-backed poll watchdog manually encodes physical copies of election returns and compares them to the electronic results from the transparency server.
