KARACHI: Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh for Information, Law and Anticorruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that election of standing committees will be held as per schedule and according to rules and Procedures of Sindh Assembly. He said while talking to media persons at Sindh Assembly on Monday. He also said that process of filing nomination papers was under way and added that they were still trying to persuade opposition parties to resolve this issue amicably and they were committed to offer chairmanship of fourteen standing committees. He said they were ready to offer PAC chairmanship to opposition provided they sign charter of democracy (COD). He said that bereaved family agreed with government to bury the dead body but later PTI Haleem Adil Shaikh and local leadership contacted them and asked them to continue their protest with dead body till their arrival from Karachi.
