This time it's involving his son and a dodgy (and very expensive) bursary. For anyone who has lived in SA for the last few years, that really is saying something,Rapport is reporting that state-owned arms/ aviation company Denel has handed a R1.1m bursary to Mahumapelo’s son. Rapport has seen the signed contract which allegedly shows that Denel had to find some loopholes in order to give the bursary to Mahumapelo’s son. First, the company said nothing was wrong with the bursary as it would help with transformation in the aviation industry. Gordhan recently appointed a new board at the company and promised to track down anyone at the company who had stolen money.
