The Nigerian traders say they have been targeted, ostensibly for the involvement of Nigerian nationals in the recent alleged kidnappings in Ghana. The Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Traders Association, Chief Kizito Obiora, tells our Ashanti Region correspondent Beatrice Spio-Garbrah that they have been under attack since last Thursday. Chief Kizito, who said they have reported the case to the police, wants a quick intervention, noting “Nigerians at Suame Magazine are law-abiding”. The Ashanti Regional Police Command has since commenced investigations into the matter.
