Morocco is among the top four fastest-growing international destinations for US travelers, according to travel insurance comparison site Squaremouth, which has released its latest list of the rising destinations worldwide. While last year’s top spots were Iceland, Portugal and Vietnam, this year has brought an entirely new list of popular destinations including Morocco as the 2nd most popular holiday destination. It’s also a bit cheaper than its fellow North African countries, as the average trip for a US traveler cost $3673.32, a 6.76 pc increase. Colombia ranked the fourth best popular destination for US travelers. With landscapes ranging from mountains, beaches and jungles, this South American country is enticing more visitors, with a 59.33 pc increase.
