Former Australian international cricketer Michael Slater was booted off a domestic flight following an "extremely heated argument" with two friends. GETTY IMAGES Michael Slater is due to commentate on the Cricket World Cup for Channel Nine. "I did have an argument with two friends while boarding a flight to Wagga and I apologise for the inconvenience this caused other passengers on the flight," Slater said in a statement issued to Macquarie Radio. "At this stage of the cricket season, Michael is working for a number of broadcasters," a Seven spokesman said, according to the Daily Telegraph. Slater will, however, reportedly return to Nine for the coming months as they have hosting rights for the Cricket World Cup starting next Friday, though he remains contracted with Seven for later this year.
