The Presidential Council (PC) has named new ministers for the Interior, Economy, Finance and Youth and Sport ministries. Al-Essawi, new economy minister, was in the same position during Gaddafi's reign and was the first foreign minister in the Libyan Transitional Council after February 17 revolution in 2011. Bashagha, the new interior minister, is one of Misrata revolutionary leaders in 2011 and has been a boycotting member of the House of Representatives in Tobruk since its election in 2014. The new reshuffling measures come after weeks of clashes in Tripoli that left scores dead and injured and displaced tens of families in southern Tripoli areas. Likewise, Al-Sirraj approved the security arrangements in Tripoli and all across the country, which according to the capital's security directorate have begun to take effect, after meeting with several security arrangements committee officials.
