NEW DELHI: The aviation ministry has handed over the case of Mumbai jeweler and realtor Birju Kishore Salla , who created the hijack scare on Jet Airways ' Mumbai-Delhi flight on October 30, to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Aviation secretary R N Choubey said the ministry has recommended Salla be tried under the provisions of the stringent anti-hijacking law. "While the airline has so far not moved to put the person on no-fly list (NFL), security agencies can also recommend the same. Cargo area contains explosive bombs and will blast if you land in DEL (Delhi). "Salla had reportedly done this to damage Jet Airways and force a lady employee of the airline he loves to come to him for a job.
