The speakers came up with the suggestion at a programme organised in observance of International Day of the Girl 2018 at the head office of Underprivileged Children's Educational Programme (UCEP) in Mirpur on Thursday. With the title "With Her: A Skilled Girl Force," this year, the speakers stressed the need for expanding learning opportunities for girls and equipping them with skill training and employment. A non-profit and non-governmental organization UCEP Bangladesh serves children, youth (especially girls), women, persons with disability (PWD) and ethnic minority groups- for changing their lives through education, skill training and employment support. With an aim to address the girl child problems, the speakers called for raising awareness among boy students about girl child problems. Girls education is must to overcome the challenges in the life and for the development of a nation, he said.
