And those who will score D, D+, D– and E are likely to increase. The report, dated July 18, 2017 says candidates who have posted grade D to E over the past three years are 557,911. In 2015, some 133,885 candidates scored grade D and below, according to the report. This represented more than half the candidates (51.7 per cent) who sat the 2016 KCSE examinations. Overall, the report reveals that the number of candidates registering to sit KCSE examinations has been on the increase.
