Ethiopian Airlines has launched three weekly flights to New York's John F Kennedy (JFK) International Airport. The airline said the new flights to New York will make stopovers in Abidjan, Ivory Coast (West Africa). Ethiopian currently operates four other weekly flights to Newark, via Lome (Togo). The launch comes at a time when Kenya Airways plans to increase its flights to seven days a week on the route. The new service to JFK Airport increases the number of Ethiopian Airlines flights to North America to 24.
