In a text message, ERC Spokesman Florensinda Digal said Geronimo Sta. His resignation followed that of fellow commissioners Gloria Victoria Yap-Taruc and Alfredo Non, who worked at the ERC for seven years. Ana’s resignation, the ERC is left with three commissioners —Magpale-Asirit, Catherine Maceda and Alexis Lumbatan; and Chairman Agnes Devanadera. The ERC needs at least three members to constitute a quorum in order to adopt any ruling, order, resolution or decision, as well as perform other quasi-judicial and quasi-legislative functions.
