President Duterte on Thursday vowed to continue going after Islamic State (IS) sympathizers, and said he would need money to combat the terror group. Speaking at an event of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Mr. Duterte surmised that Islamic State, whose sympathizers laid siege to Marawi City for five months, could wreak havoc in the world for seven more years. ADVERTISEMENTHe told the gaming officials that he appreciated the revenue that gambling operations give to the government, though he himself never liked the activity. I do not even go to gambling houses … Not because I do not like you. Keep the money coming, no problem,” he said.
