Yaganoma Baatuolkuu bemoaned the stringent standards and regulations set by the business regulating agencies in the country with regards to the sampling, charges, registration fees and several other business related areas. “The regulatory bodies are not helpful…they’re killing the local businesses with fees you pay when you go there. She noted that her rather sour experience with the Foods and Drugs Authority, Ghana Standards Authority and Ghana Revenue Authority if not checked would run SMEs at loss instead of providing a cushion for them to thrive in the growing competition.
