The Ministry of Health and Population announced on Monday morning that 28 citizens were injured in a bus collision on the 10th of Ramadan road in Sharqia. Twelve equipped ambulances transferred the victims to Belbeis Central Hospital, Ibn Sinaa Hospital, al- Ghandour Hospital and al-Helal Hospital in the 10th of Ramadan City, Health Ministry spokesman Khaled Mugahed said. According to Mugahed, their injuries include suspicion of post-concussion, fractures, wounds, bruises and abrasions in various places. Egypt loses about 12,000 lives to traffic accidents every year. It has a road traffic fatality rate of 42 deaths per 100,000 population, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
