A 38-year-old woman charged over a stabbing has been barred from going north of Canterbury's Waimakariri River while on bail. Police and St John were called to Peraki St in Kaiapoi, north of Christchurch, just after noon on November 12. Chantelle Amanda Park entered no plea to a charge of wounding a man with intent to cause grievous bodily harm when she appeared by video-link before Judge Brian Callaghan in the Christchurch District Court on Tuesday. Defence counsel Donald Matthews applied for Park's release on bail after a week in custody. Judge Callaghan granted the application, imposing conditions that she report daily to the police, not contact the victim, and not go north of the Waimakariri River.
