MANILA, Philippines — A police official accused of extorting money from a robbery suspect was arrested in an entrapment in Baguio City yesterday. Lt. Col. Allan Docyogen, chief of the Baguio City police intelligence unit, was collared in front of a restaurant in Barangay Azco at around 2:27 p.m. The suspect said Docyogen demanded P200,000 in exchange for not killing him or arrested for other crimes. The victim, who was arrested based on a warrant for robbery, said he initially gave Docyogen P47,000. PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde vowed to weed out police scalawags from their ranks.
