Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital in North Central Nigeria shutdown activities for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his campaign team on Thursday. Led by the Director General of the Campaign Council, Senator Bukola Saraki, the team was in Lafia to woo voters ahead of the 2019 general elections. The rally had in attendance the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara who joined the campaign trail for the second time. As the 2019 general elections gather momentum, the Atiku Campaign Organisation support base is growing as a group known as 30 million independent youth voters has thrown its weight behind the election of the former Vice President.
